"Make-Up or Break Down?" 2021
All make up lovers have been there, you've spent hours working on your make up only for the last bit to ruin all of your hard work. How do you react? how every sane person would, you burn it down in an episode of rage of course! A short story about the true struggles of a bad make up day going from bad to worst.
First created during my second year of university, I decided to develop this humour story line in my final year. This two page spread digital story board is suitable for books, comics and various digital platforms.
"A Tribute to my Dad" 2023
I created this digital painting as a tribute to not only one of my favourite pieces of TV but also a tribute to my late dad. Rue's relationship with the loss of her Dad in "Euphoria" is something I hold dear to my heart, I wanted to express this in a way where I could combine the different scenes in a way that flowed and communicated my message which is why I chose to create this as a storyboard.
"Modern Barbie" 2023
This piece was in course inspired by the Barbie fever we all most recently experienced in the Summer of 2023. I wanted to capture the true essence of girl power/girl hood being alive and better than ever and what better way to do so than a good old team glam. The reference I used for this image was a 1960's barbie comic which I felt had a lot of out dated features that no longer resonated with the real world we all live in today such as inclusiveness, weight and ethnic representation.
